Rear Shock fitting after raising bike
 

The previous owner had lowered the bike, so I bought stock honda shock plates and replaced them to raise it back... I'm a nooB so this was my biggest job with the bike (my tool set does not include a torque wrench - where can I get one for a good price?)
I now notice though that one of the plates is not flush with the shock... is this ok or am I missing something? I checked the bolt and its pretty tight - I had turned it with all my strength while putting it back on.
A pic is attached with the gap between plate and shock marked. Sorry for the low quality, I have a phone camera.

YOU CAN GET A CHEAP torque wrench from harbor freight or ebay.

as far as the set up, yes it should fit flush. you need to take the tension off the rear by lifting it from the tail or something...then slide the bolt all the way in.
