ok so in my process of trying to put on a under tail i had to remove the key lock, well i scrapped the undertail idea for now and im reassembling my bike. one problem thought, and i dont no what its called so please view the pics






so basically honda uses that itty bitty screw to hold that metal piece into place, well for the unlatch to work properly that piece needs to be kept in place. and the screw will not hold it. any suggestion on what to do? thanks!

 

See the pic I've provided below. The one hole in the bracket mounts over the plastic protrusion...the second is the screw hole. If the bracket is mounted properly in place, that screw should hold it down...unless the hole is stripped. Then, you could use a slightly larger screw or rivet.

nvm i got it, just had to cut down a bolt lol
