Rear seat jammed!!!

Rear seat jammed!!!
I have an 01 F4i and the rear seat is jammed. When I insert the key it and turn it, it won't release the seat. Something must have been disconnected or is broken. How would I go about fixing this? Do i have to remove the fender eliminator altogether? Not a big problem as I can really only fit my wallet and cellphone but it would be nice to strap my helmet underneath rather than carrying it everywhere i go.

RE: Rear seat jammed!!!
to get it open, some people have removed the seat(drivers), and used a coathanger to
fish around until they found the cable then pull it to release the lever.
be careful about strapping your helmet to the helment lock, I get paranoid about it. people have been know to steal them, even cut the strap.
dont know what good a helmet is without a strap, but it has happend.

And yeah I've heard of that too....people will just cut the strap of your helmet to steal it.....like krash said...it doesn't make any sense to steal a helmet (now) without a strap, but I guess most criminals are idiots anyways
