Rear Hugger Installed (w/Pics!)
I posted asking if anyone had a rear hugger installed and only got one response back.
But anyways....I ended up buying a Powerbronze Rear Hugger for my 2001 F4i.....only color it was available in was black. I don't think red would've of looked right at all....it would've stood out too much. So I'm glad I got black.
It's ABS plastic (not fiberglass)!
I ordered it from www.superbikestore.com
He had it for the price of $119 & $12 to ship it.
I found it here http://streetfighters-usa.com/store/page1724.html for $105 & $15 to ship it.
Emailed the guy at superbikestore.com & asked if he'd match it and he said yes. (I wanted to buy it from him since he was local to me in Michigan & had it in stock--instead of waiting for it to come in from California).
So he wanted $119 SHIPPED for it and I forgot about sales tax, but he said he'd split it with me.....only cost me $122 SHIPPED!
Looks pretty sweet & just wanted to show you guys some before & after pics.....check 'em out.....

RE: Rear Hugger Installed (w/Pics!)
Like I said....I spent A LOT of time on it
Bought it 3 weeks ago with 1,600 miles on it & it was M-I-N-T......and I've only put 100 miles on it so far
Just needed a good waxing to bring the shine back. Used Meguiar's NXT wax (really works GREAT!!!) & then a coat of Meguiar's Gold Class wax over that.
Looks brand new in person & the shine is unbelievable.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Meguiar's NXT wax for a bike. On a car....it brings a good shine, but doesn't last long. On a bike though...it'll last longer since a bike doesn't get exposed to elements as much and is usually stored inside. Fills in fine scratches & has a very deep glossy shine.
Then like I said...I used a longer lasting wax (Gold Class) to "seal in" the shine of the NXT wax
Came out great!
