Rear grab bar removal

First off are there any pictures of 04+ f4i's that have this removed. If so post them preferablyu black and yellow ones. Secondly are they simply unbolt and what would you use to fill the holes???

ps- sorry about the filthy bike, i got caught in a downpoar yesterday and havent washed it yet
