re-wraping seats ?

Default re-wraping seats ?

Has anyone re-wraped their own seats? I was trying to the other day but I gave up ...

Yup I have. Bought the covers off ebay. Buy good cover/s. Cheap ones will not be sewn as much as they really need to be if at all. But if on a tight budget can be made to fit n look good. WITH ALOT OF PATIENCE lol

goto your local craft store buy some material, spray adhesive, staples and just wrape the seat spray the adhesive and staple the edges down and you are good to go

Believe me I have tried.. I can do the driver seat just fine but the pass seat has alot of excess I think that one needs some sewing.

I redid my passenger seat and it came out fine for the most part (one or two creases. Just work with the material when it's warm so you can strech it over the corners. If you can get upholstrey tacks it will be easier than with staples.

I redid my passenger seat and it came out fine for the most part (one or two creases. Just work with the material when it's warm so you can strech it over the corners. If you can get upholstrey tacks it will be easier than with staples.
Use a hair dryer/heatgun to warm up the material. It will become VERY stretchy.

I got mine done by a local sewing place, Cost me $50 for materal and labour...
Look around your area and get some prices, Might be quicker and cheaper
if you don't know how to sew...
