Default Radar/Laser Detectors

Anyone have one of these for their bike or know about them? What is a good brand or good model to get?

Cobra makes some pretty compact 9-band radar detectors. Would i ever put one on my bike? NO.

It would be too easy to steal and just one more unnecessary distraction for the rider. Just use your eyeballs to look for cops and don't speed on unknown roads where you don't know where a lil piggy could be hiding.

most radar detectors have headphone jacks in them... go get one and wire it hid it somewhere and but wireless headphones... but only put one bud in your ear... this way your not distracted and can still hear the detector and whats going on around u

I'm not so excited about the idea of a radar detector on the bike. Too much of a potential distraction either way you tackle it. If being on a bike calls to be safe...keep the speed down and the distractions to a minimum.

...and how much are speeding tickets and how much is it going to cost you when your insurance rates go up. I drive 3000-3200 miles a week. I want a detector that works.
