Race "PLASTICS"
Does any company make race plastics.... im not talking about fiberglass fairings im talking about like plastic lol....
:icon_bike: Thanks guys, Zac |
Well... SharkSkinz makes these: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...1-SKIN-94.html
They are probably considered fiberglass but they are marketed as some woven epoxy resin material... idk |
Any reason you want plastic as an alternative? There are companies that make plastics, like auctmarts, but I don't believe any company would make race "plastics" without doing them in resin/fiberglass.

because i wanna have a non headlight, one piece upper, and a belly pan, ans a race tail.... lol
i have fiberglass ones now but my buddy who is painting them said they are so thin that even with the bondo he is putting on them to try and straighten/ remove some of the flex that he doesnt know if they will last more than 6 months once painted....(i suggest anyone buying race fairings stay away from rockwall) so i am looking for plastic ones.... or i may just save up and go to opp racing and get CF ones.... |
i think the rockwall ones in general are really thin

The money sucks, but Sharkskinz are definitely worth it. Cheetah Racing (which I think is out of business) made some good stuff too, what my new tail is and couldn't be happier.
The nice thing about high quality fiberglass ones like Sharks, is if you go down and they get a puncture in them, you can just fix them. |
