Default Quick Q about jump starting...

I accidentally drained my battery and was wondering if I could use a car battery charger to jump it? I connected a trickle charger for about and hour and it sounds better but still wont start. Thanks

It's ok as long as you don't have the car engine running while you do it. That way you're just using the car battery instead of yours to power the starter. The high output from the car alternator with the engine revving could damage your bikes electronics.

Well I was going to use a booster pack, like the ones you charge your car battery with when you dont hook up to someone else's car.

I'm not so sure that would be a good idea.
I'd play it safe and use a car battery

Ok, I know what everyones gonna say...but i don't have thousands for a sportbike. I gota kick start on my bike, anyway havn't rode it in 1&1/2 months, battery's dead. Can I kick it, if I can and it starts will it charge the battery up while running?

yes it will...just make sure you leave it running for a while, like at least 1/2 hour so it charges enough juice to start next time

it's gotta be going over at least 5K for the alternator to start charging!!!
so either ride it or crank your idle up...hahahah...
