Default Quick battery question..

So the stock battery on my 03 F4i finally gave away over the winter due to me being busy and forgetting to start it and never hooking up the trickle-charger.. anyway, I have been looking into batteries, and was wondering if anyone could tell me a good/cheap place to get a temp. replacement battery until I can afford a good one.. and also..

Why is it a 600RR Battery is 50 dollars at the Honda Shop, but a 600F4i battery is 150 dollars...

Thanks in advance,
RJ

Walmart has a battery for a CBR600RR but said they don't carry a battery replacement for a CBR600F4i, One of my questions was, as long as its a stand-up, 12 Volt, 8.6 amp/h it should work fine with my F4i right? Because the battery they had for the 600RR was exactly those specs, which is also the specs on the side of my factory 600f4i battery..

My f4i calls for a YTZ10S Battery, now; will any YTZ10S work? or does it have to be a certain type? M bike has a Yuasa? YTZ10S in it, and I'm buying another Yuasa? YTZ10S for it, was wondering if there are different types of YTZ10S that would cause it not to fit...

Thanks, RJ

the "10s" is the battery size and yes any will work. the key is the s standing for short. I went through this and you will not find a battery to fit from wallyworld, or autozone etc...

If you have more than one bike shop call several. I bought mine from a yama dealer for $50 less than honda. (same battery for the raptor I believe) The big key with a F4i battery is that it really needs to be a sealed maintence free battery as you are sitting right on top of it. You should be looking in the $50 to $80 range for Yuasa
