Questions

Thanks for everyones help on my first post https://cbrforum.com/m_48460/tm.htm on raising my bike back up. This weekend I put the original dogbone back on the bike and it is now at the stock height. It doesn't appear my kickstand was modified, but I want to verify the length of the kick stand. Does anyone know the the length is of the kick stand.

The bike has a Micron exhaust, now that the bike is at the correct height, the exhaust bracket no longer holds the exhaust up, should I be able to change the position of the exhaust or do I need a new bracket.

This is the first time I am attempting to do some work on my bike. Before I bought this bike I had a stock Kawasaki 500r, that I never touched except to change the oil.

RE: Questions

I would get a new brace b/c if your exhaust is moving...that is not good. Am I misunderstanding what your saying?

exhaust moving? what type of movement, in the pipe section?

RE: Questions

I have attached pictures. The exhaust is not loose, the position changed when I raised the bike. I think the stand was cut, the bike leans way to much on the kick stand.

RE: Questions

umm... yes... I see good welds all day in my work, and that my friend is do-it-yourself job. I've seen better results with guys using battery chargers as welders than that. The weld does not have any good penetration, look at sides... in the picture it doesn't even look like it was touched. Change it before the bike falls...
