Default A question to those with scotts dampers

Have any of you went with the scotts damper mount made by two brothers racing instead of the scotts mount for your f4i? It's a bit cheaper and looks very similar. Here's the link:

Do you think there would be any issues? It says it must be used with a flat mount damper. Is that the most common. I'm looking for a scotts for my f4i and i'm bargain hunting, hence the question. Can anyone offer some insight?

That bracket looks identical to the one that comes from scotts for the F4i on mine.

I paid 400 for my scotts damper and mount. The scotts fit perfect on my 01 F4i I was VERY impressed. Like he said, that link does look exactly the same.

from your question it sounds like you are expecting any kind of damper to work with that mount. I dont think that would work, if the mount is made for scotts type dampers I would buy scotts.

Nice find on the mount. You can prlly find the dampner alone for around less than 300 used. I like scotts too over some of the other ones simply that its more compact.
