RE: Question for Scorpion SR-i500 Alarm
Okay, i just installed it today. Took NO MORE THAN 15 MINUTES!!! Oh my god. Can it get any more simpler? Haha.
Each motorcycle shop in my area told me they would charge me 2 hours of laborto install it ($160). I would love to install other people's alarms for $160... $160/15minutes is better than being a doctor.

RE: Question for Scorpion SR-i500 Alarm
It's a nice alarm. I only have 2 criticisms. Firstly, the alarm is nowhere near loud enough. You can barely hear it compared to other "cheapo" alarms which are ear-piercing. Also, it would be nice to get some kind of alert (or count) on the remote when someone activates the perimeter sensor so that I know someones in my garage near the bike. I'm certainly not going to hear the blip of the alarm!
Of course, the range is nothing like claimed (but who would expect differently).
Did you install the anti-hijack relay?

Ican't find where to connect damn harness. Where those taillight/blinkers conenctors are located? I already in process of removing rear fairing because I don't see any connectors under the seat.

RE: Question for Scorpion SR-i500 Alarm
I think I got wrong kit, it doesn't plug into bike conenctors (bike connectors are bigger). Both package and manual say that it's "HON-2", but it doesn't fit.
Can someone recognize if this is the right one? I called Scorpio support and they say that probably it is not HON-2.

Well, there arethree 2-pin connectorswrapped togetherin some rubber, located right behind the taillight- it isan orange connector (orange+green wires), blue(blue+green) and white one(brown+green). Are those the right ones? I don't see any other similar connectors there.

RE: Question for Scorpion SR-i500 Alarm
this might be a stupid question, but if this alarm uses wires from the brake/taillight harness, and you're using an undertail/non-factory taillights which forced you to cut the factory connectors off the wiring harness, then you wouldn't need the scorpio alarm connectors pictured above, right?
