Question: Chain guard Bolts
I recently purchased a Chain Guard (used, $3.00, couldn't pass up a good deal) off of eBay for my 06 F4i. The only problem is that it did not come with the bolts. I was woundering what bolts are used for the guard. I dont want to use long bolts, nor the wrong kind. (Don't wanna have anything catching in my chain or wheels.) Any answers help.

order it at your dealer or go to a hardware store and look for M6-1.00X11mm.

Went to Honda dealer.
Part Number: 90106-KY2-701 Price: $4.33 each (need two) |
Couldn't you in theory just use any nuts and bolts? Because it the whole actually threaded? Maybe I'm just forgetting...

ya, but i didn't want to get some to long, don't wanna get it caught in the chain... but yes you prob could get regular bolts. I had to get some fairing grommets at the Honda store so I just went ahead and got the bolts.

wish I could find a chain guard that cheap.
