sorry, i'm new to this forums. i have an 02 f4i. the throttle handle has some play before grabing. does anyone know how to adjust this minor problem.. i'm a mechanic for cars, but new to bikes. i know its probably similar, but haen't really took apart my bike yet...lol if anything please pm me or post. thank you very much and much love from hawaii...

 

just beyond the throttle tube where the cables connect are adjusters in the cable, just loosen the jam nut and adjust by spinning the nut collar looking dealio. I usually turn the throttle back and forth through the range of freeplay till its just right, there is a spec in the owners manual.
