Then manual says 4.7 gallons. Reserve comes on and I never get over 3.7. I did some research on this site and didn't find an answer as to why this is.
Any suggestions?

 

Because your reserve light comes on when u have a gallon left

 

Reserve is 0.9 gallons, and there's an additional bit of gas below that to prevent the pump from sucking air in turns even if you do get super low.

 

What kind of miles per gallon do you guys get? How many miles do you get before the reserve light kicks in? Whats the most range you've gotten out of a tank?

 

51mpg the first time I ever filled her. Many miles later with a more loose throttle control , I average ~38-42 mpg.

I only get like 115 miles when the reserve light comes on. Should I be getting more out of my tank?

 

From the time the reserve kicks on until all bars flash, I'll put AT LEAST 30 miles on it before I fill it up.... and even then I have a very difficult time getting 4full gallons in the thing... I wish that it the damn thing would be more accurate and tell me when it is ACTUALLY out of gas so I would find it more reliable :-|

 

Agreed. I do the old, "Hey, there's not a lot of gas in the tank, better go put some in. Oh look at that, the reserve light".

 

i get about 119-129 depending if it is winter or summer aken how do u get 190?
