question?
Had the bike up on the rear stand the other night, making an adjustment to the chain. As i was lubing the chain and checking the tracking;i had thecluch 'pulled in' and the wheel was still moving quite a bit, with some power behind it. I would put it in 1st and let it slowly wind out while lubing, and as soon as i would pull in the cluch the wheel didnt stop winding till i appllied my foot to the tire. I have the rpms at 1300- 1400at idle.. I don't rememberthe bike ever doing this. When u pull in the cluch it stops providing power to the wheel! but this time around it just keptmoving with the cluch in. Is this normal? or do i have my chain to tight?
(all the other gears dont do this just 1st with the cluch in.)

RE: question?
i think it might be normal. the engine oil being pumped through the transmission will tend to keep the transmission spinning even when the clutch is in. im pretty sure mine does that too......does your bike try to move at all when its on the ground and the clutch is in? or do the revs drop when you put it into first?

RE: question?
its probably still engagin'. do this. disengage the clutch and apply the rear brake. after a full stop see is the wheel start pickup speed again. if it does start moving fast again then its probably the clutch is still grabbing. if it starts to move slowly then thats probably the gravity pulling on the tire because you have the rear stating up.
you can adjust the clutch by the cog on the lever and by the clutch case where the cable ends.
let us know how it goes.
