Default putting bike back together after front end wreck 2 weeks ago...

ok well, not to get into too much detail but 2 weeks ago on a joy ride the bike dropped. I have been shopping around to find good deals on ebay to slowly replace everything. so far i have pretty much everything i need except a headlight and gauge cluster. I decided to upgrade on the plastics and replace all of them with new ones. I also got a tinted double bubble windscreen, new smoked flush mount sides, and new smaller black mirrors.

I am ordering new headlight bulbs tomorrow....i want someting brighter than the stock PIAA H7 bulbs that i had before. Any recommendations???? Can some of you guys post pics on what bulbs you have for your bike?

thanks ALL

p.s. bike will be back up and running by MAY and ill post progress pics as i go along

A lot of members on here have gone with HIDs. They are so cheap these days that it would almost be silly not to. I personally have a 5000k kit, 55w low beam, 35w high beam, and I love it. The amount of light output over stock is incredible, even with a single 35w low beam. Here are a few pictures for ya. The 1st outside shot is with the low beam only, the 2nd one is both high and low on. Hope it helps, let me know what you end up going with. Oh and btw I got my kit at DDMtuning.com

It's actually a hybrid of sorts. A friend of mine gave me a single 5k 35w kit, and I then purchased a single 5k 55w kit, both from ddm, so if you wanted to do the exact same thing I did, you'd have to buy 2 single kits to get the different wattages. The dual kits are only 35w for both or 55w for both. Does that answer your question?

Yeah that does and in the end I think it would actully add up to the same price. Also, one more quick question what is it like to install these is it pretty simple.

Also, I didnt mean to hikack this thread.

Very simple, mostly plug and play. There are several write-ups on this site as well. The most difficult part is finding a good location for the ballasts and where to tuck all of the extra wire length.
