About a month ago I found the bike I'd been trying to find for a while: 2006 F4i in blue/black. Found a bone stock one w/10k miles.

Day 1:

Took it out for a few rides, replaced the brake/clutch levers with aftermarket, and bought some frame sliders (but havent installed them yet). Next on the list is an exhaust.

Then last week the rear tire got a nail or something in it, so I'm getting that fixed tomorrow.

Looks good, wish I could have found a red/white one myself.

Congrats on joining the 2nd best looking f4i club lol I always wanted the red/black split seat but when I could finally afford a bike they only had blue or yellow new. I don't regret it, the blue/black is sexy as all hell. Enjoy!

thanks guys!
I'm pretty set on gear for now. Got some new Icon gloves, a new Bell RS-1 blue/black pattern helmet, and a Frank Thomas jacket. Also some Alpinestars boots and Triupmh pants for when I'm feeling particularly gear-minded.

Now to find a high-mount M4 exhaust...

Welcome to the forum. You mentioned frame sliders, hopefully you purchased the cut-a-hole-in-your-beautiful-fairing type. In all seriousness, these are the only ones worth while and a number of us have done the "cut". The others often cause more damage then if you didn't have sliders. BTW, good looking bike.
