You'll need to have it transported to the shop, that chain could kill you.

All I can say is wow!! I've never seen a chain as bad as this. I'd definitely want to be there and see what that front sprocket looks like when you take the front cover off. That is scary dangerous. This must have been making some horrendous noise.

That could be a mis-manufactured part. Its not possible to tighten the chain so much that it breaks the links. File a warranty claim with the vendor you bought the chain from and have the shop replace it

depends on the chain and the weather your riding in , and how your riding
when I put on a new chain
BTW you shouldn't have to take it to a shop just to adjust your chain slack

I check it after about 100 miles and adjust as needed , ride some more
I've got about 500 miles in between adjustments right now , and I check the chain every time I ride

show me pics of the front sprocket cover and how the front sprocket was installed !
could be the front sprocket bolt is off too !

Yeah it def looks like it's grinding itself against the sprocket cover man just look
at the scores on those link plates

who did the install ? and the front sprocket will tell all here imo , wonder if the new
front was even installed at all !
A SHOP BY THE NAME OF HFD 1 MOTORSPORTS HERE IN GEORGIA. i actually just got off the phone with them and they want me to take the bike in so they can take a look at it their self's. hopefully everything goes well and they agree to replace it free of charge.

I'd probably puke if I got off my bike and saw that. I'm going to guess faulty parts or they let someone who's never seen a motorcycle or a bicycle install it. Glad my RK chain didn't do that after I installed it. Good luck.

i called sprocket center and they told me that it could not be the chain because the chain comes cut off a 100 foot long chain meaning that other people would have the same problems as me with their chain. so what it pretty much boils down to is the shop not properly installing it.

A lot of times the chain loosens up after a short ride. Whenever I adjust, I go for a short ride with hard accel/decel and then double check, you can just tell by kicking it with your boot in a couple different spots if it's okay.
