Default Priming issue

My 2001 cbr 600 f4i (California emissions edition) seems to prime forever if I have the key and killswitch in the on position. She runs good, and I have no issues starting or anything (I try not to let the priming go on for too too long) but it’s Wierd because as soon as I turn on the bike it starts priming and just never seems to stop. Anyone have any ideas (the only thing I can think of is a previous owner ripped off the emissions canister for weight savings and that might be screwing with it) anyways thanks for reading the ramble, and I appreciate any ideas.

Welcome to the forum, that is a strange one.
Should not have anything to do with the emissions canister, but who knows.
It might be the an issue with the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) starting to go and not achieving the correct pressure, hence the continued prime. There is a flow test documented in the manual to check it.
I'm sure the others will have some ideas.
Lets see some pics of your bike.

Hi Folks, New member and first time poster here. I even have searched round thru numerous forums for some ideas on the problem my motorbike is having. I've also posted up on "CBR Forum" just to cowl my bases. The motorcycle is a 2001 F4i with most effective thirteen,000 km at the clock. Two owners, me being the second. Full provider history and absolutely wellknown. Australian delivered automobile.
