the reason why you think that 7899.99 is alot for a bike out the door is because it's probably your location man. the standard of living is probably nothing compared to southern california. your salaries are less = your prices are less, ours are more = prices are more, same **** they're all directly related. if you take a look at prices out here that's 7899 or anywhere under 8k out the door is good for a new bike and that's including tax/freight/all the extra bull****.

I'm in Southern California, and I'm looking to buy a used 06 F4i, from a private seller, for $6,000. It's only got 14xx miles on it, doesn't appear to have a scratch on it. Good deal, or no?
I would rather buy it new from a dealer with a warranty..
depends on you if you want a used bike or a used. that's not a bad price. also if you're not planning on keeping the bike, meaning you're going to upgrade dont bother with the warranty. as i said the lowest i've found in southern california new from a stealership was that site www.otdcyclesports.com. i've tried all the honda stealerships man and the one that came close to them was thousand oaks honda.
