The way i see it 01-03 are worth more then 04-06's since they come with higly demanded split seats.
That's an unacceptable statement . But Ofcourse the newer model with the a lot more comfortable , handsomely shaped bannana seat will cost more

Thanks for the replies guys. I bought the bike this season with only 1800 miles on it. I'm selling it next spring...baby on the way. I bought it for $5000 stock with the low low miles.

I'm actually in the market to buy in the Northeast. 5K is not unreasonable compared to what I have seen. Two things going against the bike are the time of year and the mods. If your bike was red/black I would be interested.

I have an 02, and paid 3500 for it in 05.But if you get the right person, you can get 5 maybe. This guy I know, paid 4700 for a 00, that had been laid down 3 times. I would say hold out til you get someone who wants it.

+1...Split seats look better until you put a girl on the back. Nothing is worse than a girl with a sore *** (unless she got it sore the old fashioned way). I bought the06F4i because of the comfort for two, that is why I didn't want the RR with the split seat. IMHO the split seat is better looking and is greatfor those without the need for an all around bike or that couldn't spend the extra grand on the RR.
