Power commander for my f4i

Hello guys, I want to ask you if a power commander form a cbr 929 will fit to my f4i?

I dont know. All depends if the connectors are the same or not. Call Dynojet. I'm not an electrical expert by any means but I would think you could cut off the connectors and hard wire it instead. Maybe, I dont know. I thought the only thing that really makes the difference between Power Commander models are the plugs that match specific bikes. But that just what I think. I pretty sure newer model 600rr Power Commander 5's work on older model 1000rr's. So maybe theres one out there that will work on F4I even if it isnt made for an F4i.

I was just looking on the DynoJet web site, it appears the Power Commander for the F4i is different than the 929. I dont know if you know how these things plug in, but the Power Commander for example has 2 plugs for 1 cylinder/injector. You unplug the stock plug, plug the Power Commander in to the injector, and the stock plug you unplugged, you plug that in to the other plug on the Power Commander. Now I would think that if you were to be able to buy 2 cheap wire harnessess for F4i, you could use those plugs to replace the plugs on the Power Commander, does that make any sense? But with all that trouble, it'd be easier to sell the Power Commander you have on ebay, and use the money toward buying the proper F4i Power Commander.
