ya, i was out, cause it was almost 60...riding down this empty 4 lane straight highway connector...decided to try popping a wheelie...so i got it up to like 10-12k in 1st, and hit the throttle...forgot to cover my rear brake and hold myself w/ my knees...so i hit the tank hard w/ my crotch a few times...ill never do that again...so i then thought about it more...and decided to do it properly..covered my brakes, tightened my knees...and gunned it up a few times....didnt get it very far up, mayb a foot in the air...a couple of times...it was so much fun! i dont think imma push it much further yet.. but ya, just wanted to share...lol

I popped my exhaust can off last weekend wheeling onto the US60 on ramp. All of a sudden it was REALLY loud and i look down and it's just kinda hangin there. after my "what the hell!?!" and stupid look, i signal my group by pointing wildely at the can and get a mix of laughing faces and oh my god faces. it was super, had to pull over with the group and jimmy that can back on.

 

I whacked my nuts the other day on accident coming out of a parking lot and there were dips in the road when I was accelerating and WAM...numb nuts for a few seconds.

I have noticed that if it feels like a foot you really are only up like 2-3 inches though.

lol, as much as a nutcracker hurts, im sure a tank slapper would hurt more...and for longer

 

Nutcrackers are worse, feels like your gonna puke those little fellers up HA it hurts that bad

 

I did my first wheelie back in Sept. I have been riding quads for quite some time, so wheelies are nothing really new, but I had never done one on a street bike. The one thing I did notice though, on my ATV I usually pop the clutch a bit to get er up. On my bike, a little pop goes a loooonnnggg way, and is probably not even necessary.

I started just throttling as I crested hills, getting it up about 2 feet. The I popped the clutch in 1st and instantly went up to about 10:30, and rode for about 15 feet. Came down pretty easy.
