Poor man's 2001 600 F4i project

My mistake. Looks like 225°F should be the threshold. Let her get up to 220° after flushing the rear brake fluid and no fan action. Will let get up to 225 tomorrow and check for ground from the switch.

i did the fan switch mod. so my fan turns on at 209F
maybe you should think about it too because youre rolling.

Pull the thermal plug off the Rad and ground it. If it turns on your fan is good. Check after you get it up to temp. 225 should be high enough to trigger it.

Been away for a few days and for that I apologize. Been exercising my 2nd amendment rights a lot lately so the bike had been on the back burner. My longer motor Mount bolts arrived so I grabbed them and installed one. Still need to check cooling fan operation. Installed my rear turn signal bulbs. She just needs the front tire installed and pads while I'm in there!

Started her up and took her for a spin around the neighborhood. I've been so busy I havent even pulled the wire off the thermistor and grounded it to diagnose. Guns are addictive: buying, shooting, carrying.
