Alright guys and gals. .. just got patched in to full member so here's a few pics. I have no idea why they are uploading upside down so bear with me.
Pic 1 is omw home with the bike on my trailer hitch mounted dirt bike carrier. It was a white knuckle ride, believe me.
Pic 2 is the before pic. Not that you will be able to see a difference since the shoddy plasticsaren't being replaced at this time. Just the good old mechanical stuff.
Pic 3 is of the top end of engine and proof that the throttle bodies don't need to be removed (or the rear main harness) to pull valve cover, but I'm sure it would help make the attachment of the throttle cables less of a nightmare.
Pic 4 is the sub frame before pic after being cleaned up with wire wheel.
pic 5 is the subframe attached secured and the way things are supposed to be.

Okay. .. made some progress tonight. Valve tune complete. Valve cover, New K&N filter, new sliders installed. Tank installed. Key on... no fuel pump. FUUUU@$! Pump works. .. verified with power probe. No power to pump. Going to bed. Troubleshooting to resume Saturday night.

Was a bit depressed last night when I got everything back together and the fuel pump wouldnt prime. A bit of searching on the forum quickly revealed that the tip over sensor in the headlight cluster must be plugged in to complete the fuel pump electrical circuit. Got home, plugged in the headlight harness, key on..."buzzzzzz".
Schweet. Will continue assembly sometime after the princess is in bed.

Ok. Got a lot done today. Flushed out the old green coolant for engine ice today. Took about 2 hours. Changed oil (T6) and filter. Replaced burned up brake light bulb after 2 trips to advance auto. Installed new tag bracket with tag light. Installed rear seat and plastics. Installed front cowl. What a pita. Started on frt turn signals and decided its time for a break.
