Please tell me what happened
I was riding to class... only down the street from my apartment and my bike just died as i was slowing down toa stop sign. After a couple seconds my FI light came on as if i just turned it on and then i could start my bike again... ive rode around a little bit since then and its been perfectly normal since then... should i be worried?? Right after the bike started again the idle was running a little low (at around 800).. I was in a rush to class so I took off from my apartment before a temperature reading came up... Does anyone know what could have happened?? anything help is greatly appreciated! thanks!

Yeah batten down the hatches and check back if it duplicates. If it does, check to see if the FI light starts flashing, then check back with the number of flashes so we can relay the error code. Could be a ****ty map sensor or something too if you were idling like crap.

something like that kept happening to mine a lil after i bought it. do u have an aftermarket exhaust? cuz mine came with it when i bought it used and whenwhoever b4put the new exhaust on it, itdidn't have a place to plug in the O2 sensor so they just tucked it up under the engine. i got a shop to weld a fitting on the exhaust so i could plug theO2 sensorin and ever since i haven't had that problem

RE: Please tell me what happened
The same thing happened to me a few times and I actually figured it out today while riding.
It turns out that (at least on my 02 F4i) if you brush the kill switch (to the on side), it will kill the bike like you flipped the switch off and then the FI will kick back on and prime the bike again...then it is ready to start again.
Did that make sense? It is kinda hard to explain...
