When i bought my bike there was already an undertail on the bike. Its either a hotbodies or a rumble not sure. Either way my dilema is that just yesterday when i was riding when i got home i noticed that when i pulled in my garage the brake lights were not working. The lights work as running lights but wont get brighter when you depress the brake lever.

It is a regular 1157 bulb not led. They have worked since i got the bike but they just stopped working. I replace all the bulbs but not luck yet. Also what is the little red bulb just under the main bulb in the round tail light housing for????

Let me know if you have any ideas. I need this fixed asap i have someone coming to look at the bike to buy it in a day or so.

8 hits and no help what the deal here. I just need some suggestions.

For instance the left light has to bulbs the big 1157 bulb and the small little red one on the bottom. THe big bulb has 3 wires to it and the bottom has 2.

Are one of these wires for just braking??? Is there a brake light fuse i should check?? Where is the fuse box anyway?/

 

ya my f4 did that same thing to me. check to see if you tail light is still pluged into your break levers. on the front brake it's right up by the leven, there should be 2 prongs that it pugs into. also the same down by the rear brake lever. hope that helps,

 

i'd say check wire of the brake and the fuses.

yeah just check your wires, make sure they are tight.
when i went to check outmy bike the front brake wouldn't light up when squeezed, but the rear brake would. i just tightend the wires- and everything was fine.

 

What wires are you talking about tightening? The brake light wire is getting power but when the brakes are pressed, the lights brightness doesn't change at all.

We checked the fuse box, changed the bulbs, and now we are still in the same spot. No brake lights from front lever or foot brake

 

Do your turn signals work? Last time I blew a fuse my turn signals and brake light stopped working.
