I got it off ebay for about 90 bucks plus 15 for shipping. I've noticed that they dont always have theri undertails for sale on ebay so once I saw it there I picked it up. Here is their website http://www.pimpbike.com/

Mine came unpainted so I went to lowes and got a can of krylon plastic spray paint. I put about 5 coats on total and I think it came out pretty good.

lol. im actually pretty lucky i got this. the starting bid was $30 and i set my max bid at $50. at the last minute, somone must have bid on it, but they stopped right at $50 :). hopefully it comes soon so i can install my integrated tail light.

Yeah, My front cowl is kinda busted up so once I I get a new one of those Ill paint that, the undertail and tail red to match everything else.

I've always wondered about how you get to your trunk via the lock with an undertail. Care to enlighten me? As in how do you locate the lock? And such?

You cant see it from the pictures I put up but directly behind my license plate is the lock. The undertail come pre drilled for it so all you have to do is take it off the origional fender via a little retainer clip and reinstal it on the new undertail.

can you post pics of how the tail light is held in with that undertail? i plan on changing mine but everything thats needed to hold a CA light in is cut out.

This is exactly what i currently have, pimpbike undertail, w clear alternatives tail light. Love it, lots of compliments;)
i bought my F4i like this, so previous owner had done this mod, i however wanted the plate mounted undertail, he had it tie wrapped or something to rear foot peg (side) i prefer the undertail look. Picked up 2 "L" brackets at home depot, drilled 2 small holes, Done and Done. Only thing is i don't have a lic plate light, but dont drive at night so for now its no biggie.Ill post pics soon.

Ok, just click on my profile "photo camera" for a few pics. Id say def paint that sucker Red! and while your at it get rid of those god awful chain gaurd stickers;)ill be picking up a Hotbodies hugger soon, gotta protect the paint :D

yeah that's the cheaper one from ebay. i cant really compare it to the clear alternatives one because i've never seen one, but this one is very bright. you can see it real clear during the day which is nice :D

The stock tail light bolts up to the fender, but since that is cut out they supply you with a bracket that bolts to the subframe

I actually have a string that you pull behind the licnese plate to remove the seat, so there is no lock. Has anyone ever seen this undertail before? Its not very bright so I want to get rid of it, I bought it this way. If I get the pimpbikes undertail how would I remove the seat?

sonya got more pics of that 3in drop? what exhaust is that btw i like the tip. If you have no trunk lock youd have to order one i think and idk how youd make your key fit though.

The drop is a little under 3.5 in in back. Yeah I don't have the original lock so I guess I better just stick with what I have. I'll look at how he made a string to pop the seat up, maybe I could use it on the pimpbikes undertail.

I saw your first couple pics and you don't have your license plate mounted, but your later batch after installing the taillight you do have the plate mounted.

Does the pimpbike fender eliminator include a bracket for the license plate? Or is that something you whipped up yourself?

I just barely picked up an 02 F4i last week and so I've been browsing turn signals/taillights/fender kits/exhaust like a madman this week wondering what to get, and your setup is basically what I'm after...I'd just need a license plate bracket and light for that undertail too.
