Well though this is an older thread I figure I share my DanMoto experience nonetheless

Aside from scraping off the heat tape from Honda on the end of the headers the installation was painless.

I mean there was that one part where we had to finagle the exhaust clockwise and counter clockwise until it was clear of the swingarm (this seems to be the only design flaw as you need to have the clamp at an unnatural angle for all this to work) But it was pretty easy.

The quality was ok.. the tip has that cheap sheet metal feel, but it sounds really nice, pretty tame at idle and a nice roar when revving.

And I haven't seen any reason for a power commander as of yet. It's pretty smooth if not smoother (Probably because of the O2 deletion) And my bike is noticeably peppier. The engine spins up quicker and I know I shaved off like 20 freaking pounds from the stock exhaust.

Good picture and review, thanks.

Anyone ever tried the gp can with the baffle? I'm trying to decide between the shaped can and the round gp one, with or without the baffle.
