seriously though - my inseam really sits at 29" and I manage just fine with no lowering at all. A little goes A LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG way.

You have a longer inseam. I physically cannot balance the bike on my big toe

Honestly sonya I would just lower it to whatever you feel is most comfortable. Some people hate lowering some love it, but its your bike and your the one driving it, you should do whatever so that you feel confident handling it, I know I wouldn't want to rely on my toes to hold it up.

1.5 to 2 inches should be enough, it will lower it more than you think. If the bike only has 5.3 inches of ground clearance then lowering it 3.5 inches is WAY too much. It appears to have 7-8 inches ground clearance tho, 5.3 seems a bit low. Still i'd lower it 2 inches max, and lower both the front and rear the same, and go around speed bumps after that for sure.
