So I recently installed a bootleg shorty and I'm experiencing popping during deceleration. I read that to remedy the problem, I should get a PCIII so the fuel/air mixture is correct. My question is which map works the best with my current setup and would adding a new k&n filter change anything?

 

For the most part, most of the downloadable maps are tuned for a particular exhaust. You can try different ones to see if any will resolve the issue, otherwise custom map is the way to go.
