I'm putting a F4i subframe and tail on my F2. Don't flame me 'cause I don't know much about the F4i. I've been looking at undertails for my bike and noticed that they all have lock holes in the bottom. Is this to remove the rear seat and get into the trunk? Do I HAVE to have a locking rear seat? I don't have one yet so I'm not sure howit works.
Also, can someone explain the lock thing to me? I know on the stock battery tray, the lock is in the rear. The batt tray I got has been cut for an undertail. When you buy an undertail, do you have to do any mods to the lock mechanism, or is it as easy as moving it?

its really not so hard to move, there is a secureity dvice keeping it attatched to the fender so that has to be removed other than that it should move easily just make sure the cable is attatched to something else so that when the key turns it still unlocks the seat
