I have my bike tore down at the moment because my wheels are being painted gloss black. I am considering paint the bottom of the fork tubes black, but am not sure if I should or not. I just know that area would see alot of rocks and what not seeing as how it is down by wheels. But any input or advice would be great! Thanks

 

i just did mine, i rattle canned them. they came out pretty good, but you should really clean them well first. i primed them, sanded them, cleaned them again. then i sparyed them black, and put 2 coats of clear on them.
