on average i shoot 7 differt stranths of powder coat. they make so many kinds of powder. its like interior paint for a house doesnt go on a car. some thing with powder coat. or for painting cars what better single stage or base clear. its all in what your going to use it for is how you base it on what style of powder your going to use on the product.

so i think im going to paint my brake calipers/engine covers/and possibly rear sets with caliper paint.... shouldn't this hold up pretty well?

do you do powder coating for other people? what would u typically charge if so?

i powdercoated my rear rim, hub and sprocket, and frame bolts for $50

powdercoating is fairly cheap depending on where you go

well around here they bend u over and stick it to ya... i was like at

180 bucks for rear sets and levers screw that...

www.tripageled.com powdercoated my stuff for reasonable prices. They've got up slightly since then but so has the economy.

i do wheels for $25 each if the powder needs clear its an extra $5 each. so rear sets i do for $25 and i have the text black that matchs the frame. but i wount prep parts for you so all stock powder or paint needs to be removed.

my wheels and case cover are coated transparent red.
