WEll i was on the way home the other night around 9:30 and was just a little too close to the edge of the road. I felt the stones so i slowed down and figured i couldnt make the turn so i grabed a handfullof the frontand locked up the rear wheel. Need less to say im lucky, i went of the road just barely missing a 3 foot ditch but i clipped a tree right at the head light. Busted the lightand all of its mountsof course, ripped the turnsignal and mirrors off and cracked the front fender. Any advice for low priced fairings, found a few on ebay but i dont like the rediculous shipping.

The handfull of front brake wasnt what did me in, it was the log on the ground, I didnt lock the front wheel up, just the rear. I didnt get pics cuzi took it all apart when i got home. Busted mirrors, ripped off the left turnsignal, broke the headlightanditsmounting tabs on the left side, pulled the bolts through the fairing on the left side, took a chunk out of the upper fairing where the headlight is, and busted off the air duct cover, and i think that would sum it all up. No frame or engine damage so im happy about that. Im gunna buy flushmounts, new mirrors, and frame sliders, got a headlight, and just bought fairings tonight; aftermarket but stock grey with black honda wing on the lower fairing to come up to the tank. Ill try to get pics of that when its on, and ill get some pics of my current set up: 1980's singal headlight with flushmounts glued to the side.
