No worries, I know better now (thanks to you guys), Tire is ordered. as much as i love working on my bike I dont want to be rebuilding it because of a crash (or myself).
So as I said before, only have rear stand. Im thinking of using a jack from my truck. and some jack stands to keep it sturdy. any thoughts? or any other ways to lift up the front without a stand. id rather pay the 20 bucks to put the tire on than 75 if its still on the bike.

Yeah, but if I had a choice, I would always use a rear + front stand combo. Since you don't have a front stand, I was giving you options. What 74demon recommended is a good option as well (lifting via rafters). Also, an engine-hoist is a good option as well.

Bro, stands on craigslist are DIRT cheap. I got a decent rear for $25 that also adjusts to work great with our dirt bikes. We have rafter straps for the front but I'm gonna get a $60 pitbull with triple tree attach pin (new $170) off the local forum.
I ran the stock 2001 tires for a minute, I knew they were bad. I didn't know fully until I replaced them. The difference in grip was HUGE, even though I anticipated it. Tires don't matter so much getting up to 100mph, but they definitely matter for slowing down. You will wash out easier, which is gonna cost a lot more than a stand and a tire.
Also I got the PR2 as well, definitely liking it so far. I hope the longevity is as good as people say.
