Ordering Fairings soon... Opinions?

Alright... I think I might bite the bullet and finally go full fairing soon. After the accident and needing to start putting parts back on the bike, I decided to cover up some of the bumps and scratches with some plastics.
DHGate has sold about 8-9 kits to local friends of mine for different bikes and so far they have all been good quality, or good enough to make up for the cost. And I'm not looking for perfect, since Alaskan roads will ruin both cheap and expensive kits. So here I have compiled a list of a few kits that I like, and would like some input as well. I am planning on keeping the blue powdercoated frame, and would be putting on my black Stator cover. The tank needs either some body work or replaced from the wreck, and at that time I would get decals/paint to match the fairings I choose. Or I was really thinking of doing a really clean black or white fairing set and doing my own decals.

I think the first set would look good with the blue frame.

Personally think the blues wouldnt match on the frame and blue. Think it would be a noticable difference when right next to each other. But if it did match it would look good. The lucky strike looking Repsol looks decent. In my opinion not a huge fan of the race fairings but thats personal opinion. I love the black and gray wing fairings. But hell, I'll show you what I did with my own decals and the white since you mentioned it. Attachment 29053 |
I like the black and grey wings, just wasn't sure how well it would go with the blue.
I also liked the white Repsol with red and blue accents. Most aftermarket kits I found were for the banana seat, but I contacted a few companies and they said they could print it all on split seat plastics if I wanted. |
