Options for changing up the exhaust!

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys!

So I've had my f4i for a little bit now, and I love it!

I have a Devil High Mount exhaust, and while I love it, I kinda want something a tad louder. I don't want to be waking the dead loud, but the Devil is somewhat quiet. This is where my dilemma is.. because I love the sound of the Devil exhaust. When you get on the throttle, this thing sounds amazing! I also love how it looks on the bike.

I wasn't sure if there was any way that you can make it louder, without completely destroying it? I was going to swap it out for something like a Two Bros. Exhaust, and hang on to the Devil in case I ever want it since they aren't made anymore.

I did a few searches on here, google "site:cbrforum.com XXXXX" and around other forums, but cant seem to find a definite answer. Seems not too many people had/have this exhaust.

Advice?

Exhaust in question:

imho, two brothers is crap. a nicer pipe with a very good tone, is a yoshi.

I've been on an F4i with a scorpion, those things are annoyingly loud. like 100% too much. same for D&D. which is basically a fart can.

I'm partial though to yoshimura.

personaly don`t think you can get much better than a yoshi but always loved the look of the devil pipes, good if you could track down a devil shotgun system, i havent seen a set on a f4i for awihle know.

I have the exact same exhaust )Titanium Devil SB2)
I love it and wouldn't want it louder but my bike is also a commuter.
You could always cut it to a shorty which would make it louder. (Your best bet)
I believe the Devil is louder Yosh, and 2 Bros is only keeps its rumble for so long (So I have heard) and D&D is super loud but doesn't sound the best on our bikes.

Could always do a little guy like I did.

Chop it down 1/3 its size. Its free, granted you already have rivet tool.
A high mount shorty would look sick.

It's such an amazing sound when on the throttle.. I am in love with it.

I don't think I'd want to destroy the exhaust like that. Not to say that it really "destroys" the exhaust, but I don't want to completely destroy it's current condition if that makes sense.

I may consider this. Where exactly would be trimmed? Would it be the part towards the bottom of the exhaust?

Sorry for such noobish questions.. my life for the past 5 years has been Subaru, so streetbikes are somewhat new. I love the bike though, dirtbikes made the transition easy.

Chop it down a little bit. That will make it louder.

get a jardine rt-one. I bought one from them (granted I got a discount due to my last name). it sounds great a nice deep rumble and great under load. they make a db reducer too and its really easy to install/take out. Its great and Ill be getting them for life.
