One day BATTERY DEAD next day WORKS?
Made a thread on here explaining how my battery died, bike got sluggesh, guages stopped working, shut it off and couldnt start it back up. Made the rappid fire clicking noise, then after that didnt make any noise or any action at all.
That was last night, the bike started up fine tonight, rode around 20 minutes or so, turned it off and on 3-4 times or so.
CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS??????????
Can bike battery revitalize itself so to speak? Like for example left My car light on before, car wouldnt start at first, let it sit for a hour or 2 and then it mustered up enough to turn over.

Most likely is your regulator/rectifier.
I had the exact same problem. The charging system would work fine, then not at all, then fine again.

Really Jim? Its nice to hear someone else had the same problem haha no offence. What year f4i you got bro?? How did you fix the problem? And did you ever think that maybe it was your stator?

Its an 02. I checked the stator using the guide in the service manual. Good battery, good stator, no loose connections, so I figured it must be the reg/rectifier.
Its a common problem on the F4i.
