Just talking with a co-worker about a bike he had in the 80s. He said it had a Kerker pipe on it. I wasn't sure they were even made any more so I looked them up. They made a slip-on and Full system in Aluminum and Carbon for the '01. Prices are CHEAP, like low $600 for a FS Carbon. Should I consider something like this for my next upgrade?

 

I have never heard of that brand, but that doesn't mean its not any good. I went with the newer style, Two Bros. and I really like it, mine is a slip on. I didn't want to spend the money for a whole new system just yet, and I probably won't get a new sys either, I am very pleased with Two Bros.

 

Kerker is very old. Mostly popular in the 80s with Kawasakis. They even have a few championships under their belt for a few brands of cycles.

 

Am I mistaken or are Kirker and Hindle part of the same company or are they just marketed together? I could be way off, but I also recantly found something online about these companies.

 

Kerker, Jardine, Bassani, R C Engineering, etc.are old names and manufactures of exhaust systems and other parts starting about 1972. I remember when they started building go fast parts for the original 750 Honda.
