Hi ripmywallet,
Please take a moment and pop over to the new member area and introduce yourself to the forum.
Where are you from, how long have you been on two wheels, what bikes do you have etc.
We also love pictures.

Think you might struggle with the JB weld, but would probably give it a go as you have nothing to loose.

Cheers

Like Al1040 said you have nothing to lose. The key part is going to be making sure there is no oil on any of the surfaces that the JB Weld is going be in contact with. Brake Clean might help with that.

But like 74Demon said, it's probably not going to work. :-(

I would find someone that can weld aluminum and have them take care of it properly. The right person will clean the area completely then weld it in place and should be able to do it with the fitting there (or at least tack it) so the parts line up correctly.

That would certainly be the best bet, would definitely need to be someone that you trust to do it properly!
