Oh my God. Another Exhaust question
My stock exhaust is one piece all the way down to the mid pipe. It doesn't look like it's hard to take off, but where can I find one just like it? (preferably Yoshi, but I'm not too picky). All of the slip ons I've seen on sale consist of only the can. Am I missing something? Am I limited to the kind of exhaust I can get? I don't want to have to get an entire exhaust system.

Agreed, just find the flavor that tastes good and plug it in. My Micron came with the midpipe and the can. Beware, your '06 is a "California" bike which means it will have an 02 sensor in the midpipe (a little screwy hooty-gobber). I had to order an 02 sensor eliminator with my exhaust.

Just buy a can and cut the pipe. Thats what I did.

OUCH!! I don't know... I love my baby too much to have to cut her. You should've seen me when I had to drill the holes for the sliders. I was about to cry. Oh, and on that note, new pics comin soon!

Aha! I knew that little thinga-ma-bobber had somthin to do with it. I was wonderin what it meant when they said it's a "California model". Where did you get the eliminator from? is it easy to install?

RE: Oh my God. Another Exhaust question
Micron sold it to me for about $20. I'm sure it will work for any slip on. I had to take the tank off to get to the wire cluster (follow the line to see where it ends), or hire a 9 year old Indonesian girl to do it. After cussing for a while, THEN taking the tank off, it wasn't too bad. Capable enthusiasts probably would have thought of that first...good luck!
