Default Off Balanced Tire? Happen Often?

So about a month ago I mounted my new PP2cts by myself with some help from another moto buddy. I also used Dyna Beads. Went very smoothly, beads seated perfectly yada yada..

Also I DID line up the barcode on the new tires with the valvestem.

However at high speeds i had a bad vibration in the front wheel, (100+ mph) So bad in fact I wouldn't push it any futher. Before the new tires I could damn near top the thing out with no vibrations at all.

So i remounted the front wheel, and spun the rubber 180 degrees around the rim, (so now the barcode is opposite the valve stem)

Now she rides as smooth as glass at all mph.
Dyna beads have excellent reviews on any application weather is a bike or offroad machine.

Just wondering is this has happened to anyone else before?

Barcode is the heavy spot on 2CTs, it normally should be opposite the valve stem.

I've always been told the barcode and paint dots were the lightsest point and therefore should be lined up with the valve stem.

News to me. Thanks for the clarification and sure glad to be rid of the shakey bars at 100+

Micky's are the only ones I personally know of where the barcode is heavy. Pirelli's, Dunlops, BStones all use a balance dot that is the lightest.
