Ok quick question, searched and couldnt find an answer. All I found was different sprocket sizes and stuff. I know the front sprocket is 16T for the F4i ( i own a 2001) what is the rear supose to be 43 or 46. im talking OEM here. Just wondering because when i bought the bike it had a different front and rear sprocket and I am thinking of going back to stock.

Which brings me to my next coment, does anyone want to trade sprocket sets, i want the stock ones. Just because i dont want to buy a speedo healer, I don't need that quick acceleration and i would like to sell the bike with somewhat accurate miles on it.

Ok and lastly I might have counted wrong but i counted 56 teeth on rear sprocket just seems like a lot to go up. Has anyone heard of such a difference? Also I am going back down to the garage to check and see if it is stamped on the sprocket with how many teeth it has. but i am 100% sure they are not stock haha. I will post the number of teeth as soon as i get a correct answer.

Haha so this is turning into a long question quick. What are the signs that the chain and sprocket need to be replaced? Ok im done for now thanx guys.

 

1. yo mang...stock is 16 46...for 2001.

3. if 56, it will be super duper big mang...does your rear tire look like it's got 2 rims on it? if that's the case your bike will be super duper torque.

4. if the chain keeps kinking...or you have to keep tightening it cause it looks like a pregnant fish...the sprockets...if they look all super duper round and not pointy, etc.

 

I have a set of Front and rear stock sprockets, Tell me what you have and if I like it than I will send you mine if you send me yours.

 

he has the extreme 56 teeth dan mang! that is HUGE! his chain must be like 200 links...hahahahah

If you had something like maybe a plus 3-4 in back than I would take that but not plus 10.
