this isnt my bike, but i have the same issue... all the washers and spacers are there and yet it still wobbles a bit... not sure if this is normal.... thx for the info

My first question to you is the motor dry?
that free play is called thrust and you well have some thrust play in order to keep the gears from grinding on each other.
When there is oil in the motor it well take up the play.

Was rebuilding mt tranny so yes the engine is completely dry... once I put the clutch plates on ut went away... does anyone know if the front sprocket should have some wiggle to it to??
