No turn signals..

Installed some new headlight bulbs yesterday and not sure if it has anything to do with it or its just a coincidence but now the signals don't work. They don't even flash on the gauge cluster. I checked and replaced all of the fuses just for the heck of it. Headlights work fine but no turn signals. Any ideas?

I have the same problem on my 600rr. Probably a grounding problem.

Start with the basics. Un-plug and re-plug all the connectors. Chances are you just
loosened one while futzing in the general area.

After that, then whip out the multi-meter and start running voltage and or continuity checks to see where the break is. Disconnect the battery and start with the positive and work out. Check each run for continuity to itself and to ground (the frame). Isolate/dis-connect each section/switch as you test, to eliminate false-positives from
something 'up-stream'.

It's tedious, meticulous work, that's why they charge so much to do it for you.
However, if you methodically plod through it, it isn't difficult.

Good luck, hope it's just a loose connector, Ern

Relay? Take off the front fairing, and check the relay. I'm confident it's that. I was experimenting with them yesterday, and removed one relay, and same thing, nothing worked, plugged it back in and all was good.

D'oh! Totally forgot about the relays up in the cowl. I'll check that when I get home.

Soooo I reached my hand up into the cowl to the relay, low and behold it had become unplugged while I was messing with the headlights. All is fixed now. Thanks for the help guys, I didn't even think about the relays.
