No shorty exhaust anymore!?
Is no one making a quality shorty exhaust for the f4i anymore? I've done a pretty thorough scour of the internet and turned up next to nothing.
I'm looking for that louder than stock but not obsurd sound with the tucked under the rear set look. I found a few but they sound like garbage, IMO anyway.
Any direction on which stones to turn over next would be greatly appreciated!!

In my opinion, all the normal pipes on the F4i look hideously long. I plan on cutting down my Yoshimura TRS to almost half the size. I found these references when I'm ready to do it:

hot bodies use to make one but they quit..thats why i desided to make my own still working on it, but i got a 13" leo vince to fit real nice and it's just a little louder than the two brothers i had.. the exhaust shop i took it to made the connecting pipe for me but they couldn't get why i wanted it to be hidden in the tail so they didn't.. and i ended up doing the rest my self... i thought it was kind of on the high side to get the pipe made...they charged me $110.. i have a thread on here about it...but yeah you wont find one for sale anywhere..i was checking every where for over a year before i got mine...

Yes I also think the long exhaust look on the f4i is a bit outdated, but to each his own.
I do not think I want to make make my own exhaust because I fear..
1. Don't have the skills to pull of nicely
2. Don't want to be guessing what sound I want (unless it's easier than I think)
I am going to have to admit that I was turned off about making one from the get-go, so haven't done much research on that..
axsys pmed..
You guys are great, I hope to gain enough knowledge to pay it forward some day!
