Post Newbie needs help with prices

Hi everyone, going to be an F4i owner soon, and need help with prices.
I've been seeing "Never been down" 2001 with 16,000 to 20,000 miles asking for $3500.
Is that an ok price or is it too much?
Also, is 20,000 miles very high?

Picked up an 06 with 2529 miles tonight for $4500 which has truly never been down. He was originally asking $5500. But his wife made him take my offer.

I had to scan all the cities on CL in PA, NY, OH, NJ and VA and sent about a dozen emails saying "$4000 cash today" to get him to bite tho.

Edit:
Another member here just finished rebuilding his F4i's engine after a lowside caused major engine damage. He had 177k on the engine. So 20k is nada if the bike is taken care of

Best of Luck to you! the F4i is an AMAZING machine! It seems to me (and someone else from WI here on CBRF) that prices are higher for these bikes up here in the midwest. I paid $3500 for my '02 with 15k. the only other option here was to go to a dealer and pay well over 4500 BEFORE their BS taxes, titles, fees ect. for about the same amount of miles.
